Investing For Good Lab

A university workshop to introduce students to the Impact Policy Making and Investing paradigm.

Investing for good università

 The course

Active since 2018 at Luiss Guido Carli and open to students of the Bachelor’s Degree Courses of the Departments of Business and Management, Economics and Finance, Political Science and the Single-Cycle Degree Course in Law.

Students go through the development phases of an impact finance investment, working in teams on real cases: start-ups collaborate in the workshop as case studies. The start-ups are selected by Italiacamp among companies whose activities generate positive social, environmental and cultural impacts in addition to an economic return.

Each year, the Lab is joined by national and international, academic and entrepreneurial interventions and collaborations.

A meeting place that represents the Italiacamp style and its desire to create connections and contaminations between academia and business. This is borne out by the experience of one of the realities selected to act as a case history in the third edition, which, thanks to the partners involved, was able to benefit from an accompanying path that led it to be awarded almost EUR 1 million in funding.

 Distinguishing Elements

  • International network: companies, investment funds, national and international organisations collaborating in the workshop, forming a true impact network.
  • One-to-one start-up: constructive and direct relationship between students and representatives of investment projects.
  • Executive lecture: speeches by senior figures from large organisations who share their expertise and experience with the class.
  • Digital platform: this allows students to carry out the analysis activity, transferring the methodology and constantly monitoring progress

 2024-2025 Edition

The 2024-2025 edition kicked off on 13 September 2024 with the startups: Billd, Math Legacy, Rosso e Vivita.
