Italy-UAE: Italian Innovation Beyond Borders

An event to promote institutional and entrepreneurial dialogue between Italy and the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on innovation, internationalization, and strategic cooperation.

On July 24th, starting at 3:30 PM, the “Italy-UAE: Italian Innovation Beyond Borders” event took place at L’Opificio Italiacamp (Rome, Via Luigi Pierantoni 2A). The event is promoted by Italiacamp in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Italy, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and the support of Key2People.

The event was introduced by the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Italy, H.E. Abdulla Ali Ateeq Obaid Alsubousi and Federico Eichberg, Head of Cabinet at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The event concluded with remarks from Antonio Tajani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

It featured a dialogue between various public and private figures: a platform for discussion among representatives of Italian and Emirati institutions, regional stakeholders, trade associations, and businesses. Key topics included sustainable infrastructure, healthcare, innovation, training, and human capital, in light of new public-private cooperation models and opportunities for entry and consolidation in the Emirati market.

This initiative strengthened the path already undertaken by Italiacamp with the creation of the Dubai Hub for Made in Italy in 2022 and with the institutional agreements signed and activities developed in the United Arab Emirates during 2024-2025. In line with the shared vision with the Emirati authorities, the event served as a tool to accelerate new partnership trajectories, making Italian innovation increasingly central in global markets.
