Italiacamp srl: Shareholders approve the 2023 Integrated Report
The economic impact generated in 2023 is 13.6 million euros.
The Shareholders’ Meeting of Italiacamp was held on Friday 12 July. The representatives of Associazione Italiacamp, Poste Italiane, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Invitalia, TIM, RCS MediaGroup and UnipolSai approved the 2023 Integrated Report.
The 2023 Integrated Report
The third edition of Italiacamp’s Integrated Report confirms the path undertaken by the organisation in measuring the impact generated on stakeholders, communities and people and in taking responsibility for the accurate and strategic management of this value generation process. The path of integrated reporting, together with the impact assessment, started three years ago, now makes it possible to have a document that permits comparability between sustainability information and long-term analysis of the impacts and changes generated over time, telling the story of an organisation that year after year increases its own value and thus also that of its reference system.
The Italiacamp Integrated Report contains the Financial Statements and the Report on Operations, which are completed with the information on sustainability reporting, in response to the GRI – Global Reporting Initiative Sustainability Reporting Standards, enriched with the evaluation of the socio-economic impacts generated.
The document is drawn up on a voluntary basis following the Integrated Reporting Framework of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) guidelines, with the aim of measuring and evaluating ESG issues, with a complete view of the organisation’s entire Value Chain, starting from the resources invested to the results obtained.
The Generated Value
The Integrated Report certifies for 2023 a value of production of 5,573,007 euro with an EBITDA of 7%. Thanks to the activities carried out in 2023, Italiacamp has generated economic value for its stakeholders and produced value for the reference ecosystem, activating a multiplier effect and generating a direct, indirect and induced economic impact, which in 2023 amounts to 13.6 million euros, with a growth of 41% compared to the previous year.
If we consider the ratio between the economic impact generated and the value of Members’ investments, it is possible to state that for every euro invested in Italiacamp, in 2023 the organisation generated 14 euros of economic impact for the reference ecosystem, representing a 14% growth compared to the previous year.
At Italiacamp, relational capital represents a strategic asset for the development of activities carried out by all operational areas of the organisation. The network of stakeholders with whom and for whom Italiacamp builds its value projects is currently made up of over 150 realities and 60 professionals.
Italiacamp’s commitment to promoting training and dissemination on impact issues continues, with the aim of training individuals and organisations capable of generating change by promoting the development of individual and organisational knowledge and skills. With this objective, during 2023, Italiacamp was engaged in training courses for a total of almost 500 hours dedicated to the dissemination of impact economy topics in corporate and university contexts.
Connecting The Dots
2023 was also the year of the new ‘Connecting the Dots’ Strategic Plan, which will guide the company until 2025 and which has focused on and strengthened Italiacamp’s value proposition: combining profit with purpose with non-profit by promoting valuable projects with qualified partners. Among the strategic projects of the 2023, the restructuring works of the future Opificio Italiacamp and the opening of the Dubai Hub for Made in Italy, the first international hub of Italiacamp aiming at building a bridge between Italian realities that want to operate in the Gulf area and the main local economic and entrepreneurial realities.
‘Connecting The Dots’ is not only the name of the strategy that will drive Italiacamp’s actions for the next three years, but a real modus operandi of the organisation that is characterised by its ability to have a ‘broad sideways look’, in order to be able to respond to the complex challenges of markets and communities, with a punctual approach. A path that has involved the single organisation (Italiacamp srl) in relation to the other realities that animate the actions of Italiacamp as a group. In 2023, in fact, Italiacamp started the path towards the integration of the ‘three souls’ that characterise it: the profit with purpose of Italiacamp srl, the non-profit outcome based of Associazione Italiacamp ETS, from 2023 enrolled in the Registro Unico Terzo Settore, and the international view of Italiacamp EMEA.
