In this context of evolution and growth, we are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Legal Specialist to join our team to support the General Counsel function in legal and regulatory activities, contributing to both the day-to-day management and the strategic development of the organization.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
- Contract Management: drafting, reviewing, and updating contracts and legal documentation, with a focus on commercial contracts, consultancy agreements, collaborations, partnerships, and service agreements with public and private entities.
- Cross-Functional Legal Support: providing legal opinions and advice on legal matters related to the company’s daily operations, including regulatory compliance, participation in tenders and public procurement, sub-threshold contracts, and administrative law.
- Compliance & Regulations: monitoring regulatory developments and implementing compliance projects, particularly regarding personal data protection (GDPR) and corporate liability (Legislative Decree 231/2001).
- Policies and Regulations: contributing to the drafting, updating, and revision of policies, procedures, and legal operating instructions, including those related to certification systems (e.g. quality, legality rating).
- Corporate Law: supporting corporate compliance activities, including updating powers of attorney, preparing documentation for the Board of Directors and Shareholders’ Meetings, and assisting with extraordinary transactions.
- Litigation and Document Management: managing and archiving the company’s legal documentation and coordinating activities related to any litigation or pre-litigation matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has:
- A degree in Law; admission to the Bar is a plus.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in similar roles, gained in corporate settings and/or law firms.
- In-depth knowledge of the Public Contracts Code (Legislative Decrees 50/2016 and 36/2023) and demonstrated experience managing tenders and public procurement procedures.
- Skills in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
- Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage activities and deadlines in an organized and timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, operational autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
