The Project
The Biennial Award "More than Pink" is an initiative of Susan G. Komen Italia and the ItaliaCamp Association, in collaboration with the Polo di Scienze della Salute della Donna e del Bambino della Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Gemelli in Rome (Women and Child’s Health Sciences Cluster of the Policlinico Gemelli Foundation),that promotes the emergence, dissemination and valorization of innovative practices and projects in the field of women's health.

After “Think for Women's Health”, "More than Pink" is the second step of the collaboration between the three partners. The project was launched between May 2016 and January 2017 and it involves 90 organizations and 210 participants, to enhance the emergence of 8 priorities for Women health protection and 16 innovative practices developed by local authorities, hospitals, research and care centers, universities, foundations, associations, companies and other stakeholders in the field, which can be consulted at this link.

More than Pink aims to promote the emergence, development and dissemination of innovative projects and practices for the protection of women's health, with a particular focus on three areas: business welfare, education, and innovation (described below). In each thematic category, the first project will be awarded with the "More than Pink" Prize, with a total value of €30.000, of which €15.000 in cash and €15.000 in tutoring and mentoring goods and services, which will be provided by a network of stakeholders such as institutions, companies, hospitals, ASLs, universities, foundations and associations that have chosen to collaborate for the award.
The Calls
Among the eight thematic categories that emerged as a priority, three were selected - business welfare, education and technologies or innovative services - in which the award aims to stimulate the presentation and implementation of new projects.
