ItaliaCamp Association To The Regional Fair “Business in Action”

As part of the collaboration between ItaliaCamp Association and Junior Achievement Italia, a non-profit organization committed to the spread of entrepreneurial culture among young people, Mariangela Lancellotta, Director and responsible for the Innovation Scouting at ItaliaCamp, is among the judges of the Regional Fair "Business in Action" held in Rome on May 26.

Business in Action is an educational program of entrepreneurial education developed and promoted in Italian schools that enables students to develop skills and entrepreneurial attitudes through a teaching methodology based on learning by doing. Students, assisted by experts and stakeholders, have the opportunity to experience the development of a business model from the concept up to the managing.

Throughout the month of May, students from all participating regions of Business in Action have been engaged in the selections that will lead to the identification of 24 finalists. Then the 24 finalists will take part to the national BIZ Factory competition, held in Milan on June 5-6, where they will compete to win the title of Best Business JA 2017. The winning business will then represent Italy at the JA Europe Company of the Year Competition in Brussels

Mariangela Lancellotta, together with the other judges, will be asked to evaluate young companies based on their innovative nature, their market potential, their technical and economic feasibility.

Given the high educational value of the experience promoted by Junior Achievement Italia, Miur (the Italian Ministry of Education) has accredited the competition to enter its national board of excellence.
