#InnovareCon David Lubell

The protagonist of the upcoming event #InnovareCon, organized on Tuesday June 6 by the ItaliaCamp Association in collaboration with the American Embassy to Italy, is David Lubell, founder and executive director of Welcoming America, a movement born in 2009 and active in over 100 cities that supports Non-profit organizations and local governments in transforming their communities into inclusive communities. As a social entrepreneur, David Lubell inspires people to build a different kind of community that embraces immigrants, promotes respect and cooperation, and brings benefits to the entire community.

In 2013, Welcoming America was recognized by the White House as "Champion of Change" for helping the integration of immigrants into the American economic and social system, and a year later, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and BMW Group awarded the movement of the Intercultural Innovation Award for promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding.
