You are here because you have decided to register with the ItaliaCamp portal available at the Web address: www.italiacamp.com (hereinafter, for convenience, also referred to as "the Portal"). In your capacity as a user, we want to provide you with some information regarding the processing of your personal data that will be carried out as part of the services available on the portal.

This information applies only to this Portal and its possible sub-domains, and not to other websites accessed by the use through specific links.


As you undoubtedly already know know, the reality that is ItaliaCamp develops through the activities of its three main core areas, namely:


  • The ItaliaCamp Association - that aims to contribute actively to the development of a different participatory consciousness, through a new model of involvement of individuals for the formulation and development of ideas that place the citizen at the centre of everything, whilst observing the principles of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
  • the ItaliaCamp Foundation - that is tasked with supporting the emergence and the development of best practices in social innovations promoted by the ItaliaCamp group through the consolidation of the collaborative network of institutions, universities, businesses and centres of excellence, with a view to supporting the implementation of effective policies of social change.
  • ItaliaCamp s.r.l. - that has the task of supporting all the social innovation activities and projects originating from the ItaliaCamp network, as well as managing this portal, from a systems/application perspective.


1. The purpose and ownership of the processing and the type of data processed

Under Article 13 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003), we wish to inform you that ItaliaCamp and in particular the ItaliaCamp Association, the ItaliaCamp Foundation and ItaliaCamp s.r.l.., intend to acquire personal data concerning you for the purposes better described below.
Depending on the sections of the portal you intend to visit, that present, respectively, the activities and services made available from time to time by the ItaliaCamp Association, ItaliaCamp Srl and the ItaliaCamp Foundation, your data may be processed by each of the aforementioned entities. In particular:


1. a. Processing carried out by the ItaliaCamp Association.

The ItaliaCamp Association will acquire your personal identification data (by way of example, your name, surname, email address, phone number, organisation affiliation, profession, etc.) for the purpose of:

  • registering your participation in "InnovareCon" or any other event organised by ItaliaCamp. In this regard, we wish to inform you that, once you have registered for one of the events organised by ItaliaCamp, ItaliaCamp will then send you invitations to additional, subsequent meetings and/or events organised by the same. In this respect we'd like to point out that if the registration to an event occurs through the use of applications and/or systems owned by entities other than ItaliaCamp (for example: Eventbrite, etc.), we would ask you to also read the information provided by such entities in their capacity as independent data controllers of processing operated in this area;
  • signing up as a member of ItaliaCamp. To this end, ItaliaCamp will send updates to your email address about the activities of ItaliaCamp and/or contact you if necessary to involve you in one of its initiatives;
  • registering your participation in competitions for ideas, calls for ideas, selections of projects organised by the Association in which you might want to take part. The methods for participating in such initiatives will be governed on each occasion by appropriate rules available on the specific section of the portal dedicated to it;
  • where you have provided your specific consent, you will be sent ItaliaCamp's monthly newsletter;
  • if you have applied for a job position advertised on the relevant section of this portal, the management and storage of the data contained in your Curriculum vitae, for the purposes of carrying out out the related selection process.
The Data Controller for the aforementioned purposes is ItaliaCamp Association, with its registered offices in Viale Pola 12, Rome, Italy, and its operational headquarters in Piazza dell'Esquilino 5.

As part of undertaking the aforementioned activities, the processing of your personal data will also be carried out by ItaliaCamp s.r.l. for the purposes associated with the managing of the Portal from a systems/administration perspective.

Your personal data (name, surname, email and phone number) may also be communicated to any members of ItaliaCamp wanting to get in touch with you as part of the activities and initiatives pursued by ItaliaCamp.


1b. Data processing carried out by the ItaliaCamp Foundation

The ItaliaCamp Foundation will acquire your personal identification data (by way of example, your name, surname, email address, phone number, organisation affiliation, profession, etc.) for the purposes of:

  • registering your participation in events organised by the same. We'd also like to inform you you that, once you have registered for one of the events organised by ItaliaCamp, ItaliaCamp will then send you invitations to additional, subsequent meetings and/or events organised by it. In this regard we'd like to point out that if the registration to an event occurs through the use of applications and/or systems owned by entities other than ItaliaCamp (for example: Eventbrite, etc.), we would ask you to also read the information provided by such entities in their capacity as independent controllers of the processing operated in this area;
  • registering your participation in competitions for ideas, calls for ideas, and selections of projects organised by the Foundation in which you might want to take part. The methods for participating in such initiatives will be governed on each occasion by appropriate rules available on the specific section of the portal dedicated to it.
  • if you have applied for a job position advertised on the specific section of this portal, the management and storage of the data contained in your Curriculum vitae, for the purposes of carrying out out the related selection process.

1.c. Processing of data by ItaliaCamp s.r.l.

ItaliaCamp s.r.l. will acquire your personal identification data (by way of example, your name, surname, email address, phone number, organisation affiliation, profession, etc.) for the purposes of:

  • allowing you to register with this portal;
  • recording your participation in competitions for ideas, calls for ideas, selections of projects organised by ItaliaCamp Srl in which you might want to take part. The methods for participating in such initiatives will be governed on each occasion by appropriate rules available on the specific section of the portal dedicated to it;
  • if you have applied for a job position advertised on the specific section of this portal, the management and storage of the data contained in your Curriculum vitae, for the purposes of carrying out out the related selection process;
  • managing this portal from a system-applications perspective. In this regard, ItaliaCamp srl can process additional data regarding your use of the services available on this Portal.

In particular this concerns:


A. Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures used for operating this portal actually acquire personal data, during normal operation, that are transmitted implicitly in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but that, because of its nature, could, by means of being processed with data held by third parties, allow users/vistors to be identified (e.g. IP address, domain names computers employed by users who connect to the site, the code indicating the state of data response from the service, type of browser etc.). These data are used only for statistical-type information (therefore anonymous) and to check the Portal is operating correctly. The data about web contacts are not however kept for more than six months, except when checking for possible computer crimes that may harm the site.

No data originating from the web service is communicated or disseminated.


B. Cookies

Cookies consist of portions of code installed within the browser that assist the owner to provide the services in accordance with the purposes described. Some of the purposes for installing cookies may also additionally require the user's consent. The purposes and methods of processes carried out through the cookies within this portal are better explained in the information section available at this link.


2. Compulsory or optional nature of the data provided

The provision of your personal data is not compulsory, but failure to provide the same or providing them only in part or inaccurately will result in the aforementioned Controllers not being able to use them for fulfilling the aforementioned purposes.


3. Methods of processing

Processing is carried out directly by ItaliaCamp through individuals in charge of the processing, using computerised means and, in some cases, this may be carried out on paper. ItaliaCamp may appoint its own Data Processors for the aforementioned purposes, an updated list of which can be consulted by emailing privacy@italiacamp.com. The processing of your personal data will be carried out legally and fairly, for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes that are not excessive compared to the purposes specified for a period of time that is no longer than that required for the purposes specified, unless otherwise required by law or acts having the force of law.


4. Communication and/or dissemination of personal data

Your data may eventually be shared with external operators of ItaliaCamp's information system and/or individual computer services used by ItaliaCamp (for example, the social networks whose authentication credentials can be used to sign up and access the Portal), solely for purposes listed for the management of the system-application of the same, but they cannot be disseminated.

Should you intend to participate in a call for ideas or should you choose to spontaneously load one of your ideas and/or projects on to the portal, your personal data may also be disclosed to third parties or partners of ItaliaCamp that may be called upon to evaluate these and/or that may be interested in bringing about their creation, in compliance with the provisions contained in the rules for participating and/or loading that may from time to time apply to individual initiatives.

Finally, as a user of the Portal, your identification data (name, surname and other personal information that you may have provided when registering on the portal) can be viewed by other users so that they can contact you using private messages or instant messaging systems that may be available on the portal.


5. Rights exercisable by the individual concerned

You can exercise all your rights under Art. 7 of the Privacy Code, which includes accessing, modifying and erasing your data or objecting to their processing, by following the instructions provided for that purpose in each individual e-mail (as in the case of newsletter) or by emailing ItaliaCamp at privacy@italiacamp.com. privacy@italiacamp.com

The Data Controllers indicated in this information note are the ItaliaCamp Association, the ItaliaCamp Foundation and ItaliaCamp srl, for the processing described in Sections 1a, 1b and 1c of this information note.
